To Discount or not to Discount that is the question?????






 


Today I'm watching the rain, got inside work next week go figure.
But it’s much better than snow so I'm thankful and I know next week it will be 70 degrees again.
You know how your mind gets stuck on something like that song that plays in your mind all day, well today it's been playing 

 To discount or not to discount  for me.

I was thinking about all the businesses that have set themselves up to run coupons and discounts thinking that this is the only way to get business. Not really thinking about the consequences of the type of customer they are attracting.  If your are trying to attract the groupon mentality customer  the one who is only looking for the best deal then more power to you.  I look at the discounts and coupons as attracting only the people that are looking for deals and will forget you as soon as they pay you.

ON TO THE NEXT COUPON is their thought.

I prefer to attract the clients that are looking for long term relationships looking for value in the quality of work the guarantees   that will benefit them and our relationship.
I do use discounts and coupons to an extent and will let you know how to so it doesn’t attract the wrong crowd.  In a later post. But for now

My question is:  Is there time to use discounts and coupons? I want to know your thoughts.
