Can You Believe It Our Price Was Too Cheap?




 Crazy 
But that's the conversation I walked into the other day at one of my suppliers. I'm waiting to pay and the conservation went like this .

Did you know you could be too cheap? I said absolutely how did you come to that conclusion  because most people put themselves out of business learning that lesson.

We were putting out flyers the other day a special on pressure cleaning pool decks for 75.00
one of the homeowners was kind enough to tell them they paid 125.00 and that was the average price most were paying. I know the area they were trying to do work in and and home owners  in that area are more motivated by value than a cheep price. So know who you are marketing to .



 My response was why work for so little , they looked at me kind of funny and said we like to stay busy.

 I responded that their  sole purpose as owners of their business was to make a profit.
Their sole purpose to their customer was to deliver the best product or service that created the best value not necessarily the best price.

Know what your cost of doing business is .
Don't be like the 2 guys selling produce on the side of the road at the end of the day they realize they didn't make any money. Their response next week we'll have to get a bigger truck.
